  I had a great buying experience with Fowler VW. I stressed how time was important to me. I was able to provide most of my information before I arrived and the time I was in the dealer was only about 30 minutes. Everyone was friendly and informative. And the office setup inside the building is really cool.

  Found an amazing car. The sales person was incredible. However, the finance guy completely tricked us. We were supposed to finance about 13k, we looked over the agreement, it clearly had the agreed upon price and number of months, correct payment amount, so we signed all the papers for it, then he found us a "better rate." We came back he told us everything was the same but the payment was about $10 cheaper and it was all approved and good to go. So we quickly resigned all the paper work, he put it in an envelope, sealed it and told us that we should just put it in the car. Okay so fast forward to when the loan info comes from the loan company in the mail. The payment was a little cheaper but he had switched things around on the second set of paperwork to where it was for 17k and 72 months instead of 60. One more year of payments and 4k higher. We were under the impression that everything had stayed the same so we didn't carefully read the second set of papers. Very stupid of us, (but after 6 hours of sitting around the dealership I was ready to get out of there) but shame on him. Bad business. Also, a few days after purchasing the car, they called and told us that we had the wrong car. We signed for one but they sent us home with a car with a vin that was 2 numbers off so we needed to switch the cars out. So we had to switch cars. What a dumb mess. We had a great experience with Fowler Honda a few years ago and that's why we came back. Fowler Volkswagen will never get our business again.

  ** Updated 8-8-17. "After I wrote this review I was immediately contacted by a sales manager. He acknowledged that they made a mistake and we scheduled to have the car fixed. They gave us a loaner car for the time that it took to repair it. We picked up the car yesterday with the repairs made. While I still feel that if I did not write this review that they would not have helped me..... they did do what they agreed upon and the car is in good shape. Amended to 3 stars." We purchased a used car from them on July 3rd and we noticed that there was multiple crack in the instrument/odometer dash cover. They said they would easily get this repaired after we purchased the vehicle. They said they would call us and let us know when they could repair it. It is now July 27th and had no calls. So I called and spoke to the Sales Manager who informs me that this was the first he had heard about it and would take care of it. Ten minutes later Paxton called and said that it is not covered by the warranty. He said they would cover half of the $500 cost. Before you decide to deal with them, please make sure that you get everything in writing. I will NEVER buy anything from Fowler again!!
